THE HOLY FATHER's INTENTIONS FOR OCTOBER 2002:

General: That Cathechist may be sustained by the prayers
and collaboration  of  parish  communities for the successful
accomplishment of the new evangelisation.

Mission: That missionaries, priests, religious and the laity may
know how to announce Jesus Christ’s love for the poor with courage.

Daily Offering: Loving Father, I offer you everything I do this
day, my thoughts, my works, my joys and sufferings. I desire to
join my heart this day to the heart of your Son, who gave himself
up totally to thy service and to the service of others. Give me
your Spirit so that I can live like him, joined to his offering
in the Eucharist. I pray with Mary and the whole Church for the
Pope's intentions this month...
